Registered Massage Therapist
The focus of massage therapy is the soft tissues of the body like skin, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia, as well as joint mobilizations. The goal of massage therapy is to decrease pain by decreasing hypertonic muscles to allow alignment and balance, and to break down scar tissue to allow natural movement and function of the tissue. It also happens to be very relaxing.
Massage is beneficial to all ages and for all activity levels, from the desk bound to athletes. Infant massage courses for parents and family members are great for little growing bodies and fun and beneficial for everyone involved.
